I've been using the Amex Gold card for about a year now mostly for dining and groceries because of the 4x points. But I'm starting to wonder if it's really worth keeping long-term. The annual fee is $250, which isn't small change.
I do love the points I rack up, but are there any better options out there? Maybe with lower fees or more versatile points usage? Also, any tips on maximizing the dining credits to offset the cost? I sometimes forget to use them, which is a bummer.
