Air New Zealand's New A321neo Fleet - Game Changer for Regional Routes?

So, I read that Air New Zealand is getting a bunch of A321neos for their regional routes. They've got, like, 9 of these planes on order, and I think they're planning to use them for routes across Australia and the Pacific Islands. I guess it's part of their plan to modernize the fleet with more fuel-efficient aircraft.

Anyway, I'm curious how this will affect their service. The A321neo can carry more passengers than their older jets, and it's supposed to be quieter too. Could be a nice upgrade for folks flying on those shorter hops.

Anyone know if this means they're gonna add more flights or destinations? Or maybe it's just about cutting costs with better fuel efficiency. Either way, seems like a smart move, but I'm wondering what you all think. Worth keeping an eye on this one!
Yeah, the A321neo is definitely a step up. More seats and way better fuel efficiency. I think it's gonna make a difference in their operating costs, which could mean cheaper flights or more frequent ones. Not sure about new destinations, but I wouldn't be surprised if they try to expand a bit. The quieter cabin is a big win for passengers too. I wonder if they'll use the extra capacity to offer more premium seats or just cram in more economy.
I think the A321neo's range and efficiency could allow Air New Zealand to explore more destinations or beef up frequency on popular routes. But yeah, a lot of airlines are just trying to cut costs with these new planes too. I flew on an A321neo with another airline, and it was noticeably quieter and more comfortable. Curious if Air NZ will keep the same cabin layout or mix it up a bit. Anyone heard if they're planning any new routes?
