Singapore Airlines Ramps Up Flights to Europe - What's the Deal?

Hey everyone! Just read that Singapore Airlines is cranking up their flights to Europe big time. By 2026, they'll be doing 128 weekly flights to 15 cities. That's wild! They're even adding a new destination. I guess they're aiming to fill the gap left by some Middle Eastern airlines cutting back.

The London-Singapore route is getting a lot of attention. Can't blame them, since it's such a major hub. I think it's smart of SIA to jump on this opportunity, especially with the travel demand bouncing back.

I wonder which new city they're adding. Maybe somewhere in Eastern Europe? And with this kind of expansion, do you guys think they'll maintain their high service standards?

Would love to hear what you all think about this move. Is this the beginning of more aggressive expansion strategies for SIA? Let me know your thoughts!
I think SIA is making a smart move by expanding in Europe, especially with travel picking up. My guess for the new city might be Prague or Warsaw, since they're pretty popular and growing in demand. As for maintaining their service standards, I think they'll manage it. They've got a solid reputation and they know it's their strong point. But yeah, expanding this fast can be tricky, so it'll be interesting to see how they handle it.
I'm thinking Budapest might be a good bet for their new city. It's been getting more attention lately as a tourist spot and could use more direct connections to Asia. As for service standards, SIA has a pretty solid reputation, but ramping up flights this much is gonna be a challenge. They'll need to keep the quality up if they want to stand out, especially with Europe being so competitive. Wonder if they'll have to adjust their pricing too.
I think SIA's expansion is a solid strategy, especially with Europe being such a key market. They probably want to capture more business travelers and tourists. For the new city, my money's on Vienna. It's got a good mix of business and leisure travelers and lacks direct flights to Asia. As for their service, I'd be surprised if they let it slip. SIA's known for high standards, and they've got a reputation to maintain.
