What's the deal with airline-branded cutlery?

I've been decluttering my garage and stumbled across a box of old airline cutlery sets. Mostly from the 70s and 80s, with a few from airlines that don't exist anymore, like Eastern and TWA. They're actually pretty neat, with the logos stamped on the handles and some unique designs. I never really thought about collecting them, but now I'm curious. Are these things actually collectible? Is there a market for them, or is it more of a personal nostalgia thing? Also, if anyone collects these, how do you display them? I feel like they could make a cool kitchen wall art or something. Anyway, let me know your thoughts or if you've got any tips on cleaning them up without ruining the logos. Cheers!
Yeah, airline cutlery can be pretty collectible, especially if it's from defunct airlines like Eastern or TWA. Some people are really into aviation memorabilia and will pay decent money for unique pieces. As for displaying them, I've seen folks use shadow boxes or mount them on boards for wall art. Looks pretty slick if done right. For cleaning, I'd just use mild soap and water to avoid damaging the logos. Avoid anything too abrasive. Have you found any really unique pieces in your stash?
