Tips for Shooting Planes at Atlanta Airport (ATL) in Rain

Started by PHXRoute92 3 hours ago 1 replies 28 views
So, I finally had the chance to spot at ATL on a rainy day, and wow, it was challenging but fun! Anyone got tips for handling the rain while shooting? My gear got a bit damp, and I struggled with reflections and water droplets messing with my photos. I used a 70-300mm lens on a Nikon D7500, but my shots weren't as sharp as I'd hoped.

I'm curious how others deal with these conditions. Any recommendations on settings, like shutter speed or ISO, to keep my shots crisp? Also, any tricks for protecting the camera without losing mobility? I was using a simple rain cover, but it felt awkward.

Would love to hear any advice or personal experiences. Thanks!
