Is Alaska Airlines Going All-In on the 737 MAX?

So I was reading about Alaska Airlines and their fleet plans, and it looks like they're really doubling down on the Boeing 737 MAX. They've got orders for a bunch of them, and it seems like they might be phasing out some of their older aircraft sooner rather than later. I think it makes sense given the MAX's fuel efficiency and range, but I'm curious about their long-term strategy here.

I mean, they're already flying a good number of these, but does anyone know if they're planning to replace their entire fleet with the MAX eventually? And what about the Embraer E175s they use for regional routes? Are those sticking around?

Also, how do you guys feel about the 737 MAX? I know it had a rocky start, but is it living up to the potential now? Would love to hear what you all think about Alaska going heavy on the MAX!
Yeah, Alaska's definitely all-in on the 737 MAX. Makes sense with the fuel savings and newer tech. I doubt they'll ditch the E175s, though. Those are perfect for smaller routes where a MAX would be overkill. As for the MAX itself, it had a rough start, for sure, but seems like airlines are pretty happy with it now. My cousin flew on one recently and said it was super quiet and comfy. Still, curious if Alaska will keep some variety in their fleet or just go full MAX.
