British Airways Brings Heathrow Service Back to St. Louis!

Started by StevenLHR77 1 hours ago 1 replies 14 views
So, British Airways is starting a new route from London Heathrow to St. Louis, which is pretty cool. It's been over 20 years since STL had a nonstop to the UK. What's interesting is that BA's going with Heathrow instead of Gatwick. Heathrow's got that premium vibe and great connections, which could be a big deal for STL.

They'll be using the Boeing 787-8, which seems like a smart move. It's not too big, but still has a good mix of business and economy seats. Feels like they're testing the waters to see if this market can handle regular long-haul flights. And with Lufthansa also flying from St. Louis to Frankfurt, travelers will actually have some options for Europe.

What do you guys think? Can St. Louis sustain this kind of service long-term? And do you think other airlines might jump in if this works out? Would love to hear your thoughts!
