So I just read that Delta's launching a new nonstop service from Boston to Austin using the A220. Pretty interesting choice there. I mean, the A220 is such a neat plane-quieter and more fuel-efficient than a lot of others in its class. I guess it makes sense for a route like BOS-AUS, which has a good mix of business and leisure travelers.
I'm curious if this means we'll see more A220s on other domestic routes. Delta seems to be betting big on these jets. Do you think they'll start replacing older aircraft like the MD-88s on similar routes? Also, how do you think this new route will affect competition with other airlines flying between these two cities? I know JetBlue and American also have flights on this route. Just wondering if anyone has more insights or thoughts on this. Let's chat!
