Alaska Airlines' Dreamliner: New Routes to Rome & London!

So, Alaska Airlines is stepping up their game by launching the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner on their new Seattle to Rome and London routes. Finally, they're offering lie-flat business-class cabins, which is a big deal since they've only had recliner seats in first class before. The setup is pretty sweet, with a 1-2-1 configuration that gives everyone direct aisle access and privacy doors.

Honestly, I think this is a smart move. Competing with other carriers that already offer lie-flat seats on transatlantic routes is tough, and this might just give Alaska a better shot. Plus, the Dreamliner itself is a fantastic aircraft with all the modern amenities.

One thing I'm curious about is how this change will impact their pricing. Will they remain competitive? And for those who've flown Alaska before, do you think these new cabins will change your mind about choosing them for these long-haul flights? Let me know what you all think!
I'm curious about the pricing too. Alaska's always been pretty good with competitive fares, so it'll be interesting to see if they keep it up with the Dreamliner. Those lie-flat seats are a game-changer, especially on long flights to Europe. I've flown their regular first class, and it was decent, but this new setup might actually make me consider them over other carriers. Anyone flown the Dreamliner on other airlines and can compare?
I'm really curious how Alaska's service will stack up against the big players on those routes. The 787-9 is a smooth ride, and those lie-flat seats are definitely tempting for a long flight like that. But I wonder if they'll keep their fares in check. I've always liked Alaska for their domestic flights, but never considered them for international. If the price is right and the service is solid, I might just give them a shot for my next trip to Europe. Anyone know if they'll have any special amenities onboard?
I think it's about time Alaska upgraded to lie-flat on long-haul routes. Makes them way more appealing for business travelers who want to skip the jet lag. I flew their first class to Hawaii once-good service, but the seats were just okay. The 1-2-1 setup sounds awesome! My guess is they'll try to keep fares competitive since they have to lure folks away from the bigger airlines. Anyone know if they'll serve local cuisine from Rome and London on board? That'd be a nice touch.
