Shooting at Zurich Airport - Tips for Overcoming Obstacles

Started by Rebecca_Tarmac 3 hours ago 1 replies 10 views
Hey folks, thought I'd share my recent experience shooting at Zurich Airport (ZRH). It's a fantastic spot, but I ran into some challenges with fences and distance. The main spotting area, the Observation Deck, is great, but there are fences everywhere. Anyone have tips on shooting through or over them without compromising quality?

Also, with some planes parked quite far, I'm using a 100-400mm lens, but sometimes it still feels like I'm missing a bit of reach. Anyone tried using teleconverters here? How's the image quality?

Lastly, the lighting can be tricky on cloudy days. I'm trying out different settings but could use some advice on balancing ISO and shutter speed to keep the shots crisp.

Would love to hear your experiences or any advice you might have on shooting at ZRH or similar airports!
