Hey fellow aviation enthusiasts! I'm planning a trip to Los Angeles and I'm super excited to do some plane spotting at LAX (Los Angeles International Airport). I've heard it's one of the best airports for spotting due to its diverse range of international traffic and beautiful California weather.
I'm looking for some insider tips on the best locations around LAX for capturing stunning shots of aircraft. I've heard about the In-N-Out Burger on Sepulveda Blvd being a popular spot, but are there any other hidden gems or less crowded areas that you recommend? Also, any advice on the best times of day for lighting and arrivals/departures from specific runways would be greatly appreciated.
Additionally, if anyone has suggestions on gear setup or settings that work well for LAX's environment, that would be awesome too. I'm currently using a Nikon D750 with a 70-300mm lens.
Thanks in advance for your help and I'm looking forward to sharing my photos with the community!
