Hey fellow travelers! I'm looking to maximize my American AAdvantage miles in 2024 and could use some advice on the best credit cards to help with this. I've been an AAdvantage member for a few years and love flying with American Airlines, especially for long-haul trips.
I've heard that the Citi / AAdvantage Platinum Select World Elite Mastercard offers some great benefits, including 2x miles on American Airlines purchases and dining. But I'm also considering the Barclays AAdvantage Aviator Red World Elite Mastercard for its enticing signup bonus and first checked bag free perk.
Does anyone have experience with these cards, or are there other cards you would recommend for accumulating AAdvantage miles quickly? Also, has anyone used these cards for award redemptions recently? I'm curious about your experiences with availability and ease of booking.
