Hey everyone,
I recently stumbled upon a sweet spot using Alaska Airlines' Mileage Plan, and I wanted to share it with you all to see if anyone else has taken advantage of it or has any tips. I found that you can book Cathay Pacific business class from the U.S. to Hong Kong for just 50,000 miles one-way. I think this is an incredible deal considering Cathay Pacific's renowned service and the chance to experience their lie-flat seats.
I'm planning a trip for next spring and am considering flying out of LAX. Has anyone here booked this award recently? How was the availability? Also, if anyone has experience with Cathay Pacific's business class product, I would love to hear your thoughts on the experience.
I'm also curious about the layover options in Hong Kong and if anyone has recommendations for lounge access there, especially since I might have a long layover. I've heard good things about The Pier, but I'm open to other suggestions.
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts and any tips you might have for making the most out of this redemption!
Thanks!
