Delta 737 Emergency Landing at LGA: Disruptive Passenger Drama

So, Delta flight DL2531 from Tampa to LaGuardia had quite the drama. The crew had to declare an emergency because of some unruly passenger. But instead of diverting, they went ahead and landed at LGA like planned-actually a minute early! Crazy, right? I can't imagine what was going on in the cabin.

The details about what the passenger did aren't out yet. Anyone else curious if they got arrested or just escorted off? The whole thing makes you think about how often crews have to deal with this kind of stuff. The FAA's been dealing with a ton of these incidents-over a thousand reports this year alone.

Delta's got a big operation at LaGuardia, so I guess they handled it pretty smoothly. But still, must have been tense for everyone on board.

What do you guys think? Would you feel safe if you knew a disruptive passenger was on your flight, even if the crew seemed to have it under control? And why do you think these incidents are happening so often lately?
