Avelo's New Routes from McKinney to Florida - Thoughts?

So, I just read that Avelo Airlines is expanding their routes from McKinney International Airport. They're adding flights to two spots in Florida: Sarasota-Bradenton and West Palm Beach. The West Palm Beach airport is now named Donald J. Trump International Airport, which is... interesting. Flights start mid-December, which isn't too far off.

I think it's pretty cool that McKinney's getting more direct flights. Makes travel to Florida a bit easier, especially with winter around the corner. I wonder how these new routes will affect competition with other airlines. Avelo's known for low-cost fares, so maybe it'll shake things up a bit.

Anyone here flown Avelo before? Are their flights usually on time? Also, what do you guys think about the naming of the West Palm Beach airport? Does it matter to you when choosing a flight? Curious to hear your thoughts!
I flew Avelo a few months ago and it was pretty smooth, actually. They're definitely on the budget side, but you get what you pay for. As for the name change at West Palm Beach, honestly, I doubt it affects most people's travel decisions. It's more about cost and convenience. I think these new routes from McKinney will probably ramp up competition a bit. Curious to see if other airlines will follow suit and add more flights.
Avelo's been pretty good for me in the past, usually on time and the fares are hard to beat. Adding these Florida routes is gonna be a game changer for folks around McKinney. As for the airport name, it doesn't really matter to me when booking a flight. I'm more focused on price and convenience. But I gotta say, I'm curious to see how other airlines respond to Avelo's move. Wonder if it'll push fares down across the board.
Haven't flown Avelo yet, but heard they're pretty reliable. Love that McKinney's getting more options. Makes those holiday trips to Florida way easier. About the airport name, I guess it might matter to some folks, but for me, it's all about the convenience and price. Curious how the other airlines will react. Might see some fare drops if Avelo's low-cost model takes off there. Anyone know if they charge for carry-ons?
Nice to see Avelo branching out, especially from a smaller airport like McKinney. Makes flying out to Florida way more convenient for locals. I've flown Avelo a couple of times, and they were mostly on time, but don't expect frills. As for the airport name, I guess it depends on personal views, but for me, it's all about convenience and price. Anyone know if these flights are gonna be year-round or just seasonal?
