Lufthansa's First A350-1000 Heading to Tokyo in 2026!

Hey folks, just heard that Lufthansa's getting their first A350-1000 in November 2026, and it's gonna make its debut flying from Munich to Tokyo Haneda in December. That's pretty exciting! This beast is longer than the A350-900 and has a fancy new Allegris cabin. They're saying it'll have more Business and Premium Economy seats, which is cool for those long-haul flights.

What's interesting is that it marks the 700th delivery from Airbus to the Lufthansa Group. That's a lot of planes! And it's part of their big push to modernize their fleet. Plus, it's supposed to be more fuel-efficient, which is good news for the environment.

I'm curious about how this will affect their services to Shanghai and Singapore since those are next on the list. Do you think this will make Munich a more popular hub for long-haul flights? And for anyone who's been in the Allegris cabin - how does it compare to other airlines' premium offerings?
