Pakistan Air Force Flying Cirrus Vision Jets - Thoughts?

Started by NHE175 • 2 weeks ago • 1 replies • 45 views
So, I just learned the Pakistan Air Force is starting operations with the Cirrus Vision Jet. Kind of an interesting choice, right? These jets are usually seen in the private sector, not really with military forces. I guess it makes sense if they want something efficient for training or liaison roles - plus, the Vision Jet is known for its tech-savvy cockpit and that whole parachute system.

Honestly, I'm curious how they'll integrate these jets into their operations. Are they looking at replacing or supplementing existing aircraft? Or is this more of a niche addition? Also, what do you guys think about military forces using aircraft typically aimed at private consumers? Does it show a shift in military aviation strategy, or is it just about cost-efficiency?

Would love to hear what you all think about this move. Seems like an unusual but potentially smart choice. Anyone know if other air forces are doing similar things?
