So, I just read that Lufthansa finally rolled out their new livery on the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, and I gotta say, it looks pretty sleek. They're calling it 'Lufthansa Blue,' and it's got this deep blue tail with a modernized crane logo. It's definitely a shift from the classic yellow and blue we're used to. I think it's a nice update, but I've seen some mixed opinions online.
Lufthansa's been adding these 787-9s to replace some older aircraft in their fleet, and they're aiming for a more fuel-efficient lineup. Makes sense with how things are going in the industry. They've got a few of these new Dreamliners flying the Frankfurt to New York route, which is a pretty competitive corridor, so I guess it's a strategic move too.
What do you guys think of the new look? Does it stack up against other recent airline rebrands? And how do you feel about the 787-9 being part of their strategy? I'm curious if anyone's seen it in person yet or maybe flown on one of these routes!
