Alaska Airlines Expanding Beyond Seattle - What's Next?

Started by LXNEO • 2 weeks ago • 1 replies • 53 views
So, I was digging into Alaska Airlines' recent growth story, and it's pretty wild how much they've expanded beyond Seattle! They're already the fifth-largest airline in the US and the top player on the West Coast and in Hawaii. That's impressive!

Seattle-Tacoma has been their big focus, especially with those new long-haul routes. But it got me thinking about their other hubs. They've got six more! Anyone know which ones are seeing the most action? I'm guessing Los Angeles and San Francisco are key, but what about Portland or Anchorage?

It's cool to see a regional airline grow like this. I wonder how their expansion plans look for the next few years. Are they planning to launch more long-haul routes from these other hubs too? And with all this growth, do you think they'll face any major challenges, especially with competition from the big guys like American or Delta?

Would love to hear what you all think. Is Alaska Airlines stepping up their game in a big way, or do you think they're biting off more than they can chew?
