So LOT Polish Airlines is finally bringing back their Warsaw to Bangkok route after a 26-year break! Starting from October 7, 2026, they'll have direct flights, which is awesome if you hate layovers as much as I do. Initially, they're doing three weekly flights, but come winter, they'll bump it up to five.
They're using the Boeing 787 Dreamliner for this, which is great 'cause it's a comfy long-haul aircraft. The flight's gonna take about 10 hours and 20 minutes to Bangkok and almost 12 hours back to Warsaw. Not too bad considering the distance.
I think it's cool that now folks in Poland and nearby countries have a direct option to Bangkok. Makes things a lot easier for travelers. And it sounds like Thailand is stoked about this too since they're keen on getting more European tourists.
Anyone planning to book a trip on this new route? Or maybe you've flown LOT's Dreamliner before and have some thoughts on the experience? Would love to hear what you guys think!
