Cygnus Air's New Addition: First B757-200PF Joins the Fleet!

Hey everyone, just heard that Cygnus Air has added a Boeing 757-200PF to their fleet. Pretty interesting move! These planes are known for being hard-working freighters, so it makes sense for them to get one. I think it'll be a good boost for their cargo operations.

The 757-200PF is a great aircraft for medium haul cargo. It's got the range and payload capacity that fits well into a lot of logistics networks. Cygnus Air mostly operates in Europe, right? So, I guess this could help them expand their reach a bit more efficiently.

I wonder how this will affect their current operations. Like, are they planning to retire some older planes or just expanding their fleet size? Also, does anyone know if they're planning to add more of these or is this a one-off thing for now?

Anyway, happy to see more 757s flying around. They've got a classic look, and it's cool to see them still being put to good use. What do you guys think? Is the 757 the right choice for them, or would you have gone with something else?
The 757-200PF is a solid choice for sure. It's got more range and capacity than the smaller cargo jets, so Cygnus can definitely up their game in Europe. I think they might be expanding rather than replacing, but who knows. They could be eyeing some routes that need the extra capacity. Plus, with a lot of 757s getting converted to freighters these days, maybe we'll see more of them joining the fleet soon. Anyone heard if they've got plans for other new routes?
Seems like a smart move for Cygnus Air. The 757-200PF can handle those medium-range routes where you need decent capacity but don't want to overcommit with a larger plane. Wonder if they're planning to phase out older aircraft like the 737s in their fleet. They could just be expanding though, given the rise in e-commerce. Anyone know if this addition is part of a bigger strategy to tap into more markets or just a one-time update?
