Hey everyone! So, Southwest is bringing back their nonstop flight from San Jose (SJC) to Orlando (MCO) starting November 21st. It's been almost six years since they last had this route. I think it's pretty cool they're doing this, especially with all the pent-up travel demand we've got going on. A six-hour flight isn't short, but it's nice to have the direct option, right?
This seems like a smart move since Florida is a big destination for vacations, especially with Disney World and all. I guess folks in the Bay Area have been missing that direct flight. Plus, it's always nice to have more choices when flying cross-country.
I'm curious how this will affect other airlines operating on the same route. Will they adjust their pricing or schedules? And how's everyone feeling about flying these longer domestic routes on Southwest? I know some people love their boarding process and no bag fees, but six hours is a decent chunk of time in the air.
What do you all think? Anyone planning to book a trip soon?
