Thinking About Signing Up for the Citi AAdvantage Card - Good Move?

Hey folks, I'm considering picking up the Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select card. I've been flying American a lot more lately, and I've heard the card perks can be decent. Mainly thinking about the free checked bag and preferred boarding.

But I'm wondering if the card's bonus miles and earning structure actually make it worth the annual fee. I think it's something like 50,000 bonus miles after spending $2,500 in 3 months? Also, how easy is it to redeem AAdvantage miles for domestic flights? I don't want to collect a ton of miles only to find they're hard to use.

If anyone has experience with this card or any tips on maximizing it, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Is it worth it, or should I be looking at another card instead?
I've had the Citi AAdvantage card for a couple of years now. Free checked bag and preferred boarding are nice perks if you're flying American a lot. The 50,000 bonus miles can be a good deal if you're planning to hit that spending requirement. Redeeming miles for domestic flights has been pretty straightforward for me, but availability can be hit or miss, especially during peak times. I'd say it's worth it if you fly American often. Just keep an eye on how often you'll use those benefits to justify the annual fee.
I've been using the Citi AAdvantage card for a while. The free checked bag and preferred boarding are handy if you're sticking with AA. The 50,000 bonus miles are nice, but be aware that redeeming for domestic flights can be hit or miss. Sometimes you'll find good availability, other times not so much. If you mostly fly domestic and want easy redemptions, maybe also look at cards with more flexible points like Chase or Amex. They can transfer to multiple airlines, not just American.
