British Airways' A380s: Keep or Retire?

Started by AMSCruise35 • 3 weeks ago • 1 replies • 51 views
So I've been wondering about British Airways and their A380s. They're back in the skies now after being grounded during the pandemic, but is it really worth it for BA to keep them in the long term? I mean, they're amazing planes, but with so many airlines shifting towards smaller, more fuel-efficient jets like the A350 and 787s, it makes me curious. I read somewhere that BA is actually planning to keep them at least until 2030, but who knows?

The A380s are great for high-capacity routes, but with travel patterns changing, maybe there are better options? Or maybe BA just wants to keep that upper-deck luxury going strong? What do you guys think? Is the A380 still a good fit for BA's future plans, or should they consider retiring them sooner? Would love to hear your thoughts or any insider info if you've got it!
