Hydro-Qubec Joins the ATR72-600 Club

So, I just read that Hydro-Qubec has taken delivery of their first ATR72-600. Pretty interesting move for a utility company, right? Not the usual airline or charter operator you'd expect to see flying new planes. I guess it makes sense for them since they need to access remote areas in Quebec, especially for maintenance and operations in tough-to-reach places.

The ATR72-600 is super efficient and great for short-haul flights, so it seems like a smart choice. Plus, it's known for being reliable and cost-effective, which is probably why Hydro-Qubec went for it. But I wonder how often they'll use it and how many people they plan to transport with it. Are they planning more deliveries in the future?

Does anyone know if there are other non-airline companies using aircraft like this for similar purposes? It's kind of a cool crossover between industries. Anyway, would love to hear what you guys think about this move by Hydro-Qubec!
