So, it looks like Boeing's having some more trouble with the 737 MAX series. Just read that the FAA is holding off on certifying the 737 MAX 10 because they've found some kind of software glitch. Apparently, this issue could stop pilots from accessing automated flight guidance during certain go-arounds. That's pretty serious, right? I mean, you don't want any problems when you're trying to land.
FAA's Bryan Bedford is saying they won't sign off on it until Boeing fixes this. Guess that means we won't see the MAX 10 in the air until at least October 2026 now. That's a long time, especially when everyone was expecting it sooner. Makes you wonder if Boeing's rushing things or if these kinds of delays are just par for the course with new aircraft nowadays.
Do you guys think Boeing will get this sorted out quickly? Or is this just going to be another long wait like with the earlier MAX issues? Also, how does this impact airlines that were counting on getting these planes? Curious to hear what you all think.
