Check out these cool vintage airline luggage labels!

So I was digging through some old boxes in my attic and stumbled upon a small collection of vintage airline luggage labels. They're from the 50s and 60s, mostly from airlines like Pan Am, TWA, and even a couple from BOAC. I honestly had no idea these things were even a thing, but the designs are just awesome. The colors and graphics are so retro and cool - makes you wonder why stuff today isn't as stylish.

I'm thinking about framing them or something. Does anyone else here collect these? Are they considered rare or valuable? I don't plan on selling them or anything, just curious if this is a niche collecting area. Also, any tips on how to display them without damaging them? I don't want to ruin them with tape or anything. Thanks!
Those vintage luggage labels sound really cool! They're definitely a niche collectible. A lot of people love them for their design and nostalgia. They're not super valuable like stamps or coins but can be worth something to the right collector. Framing them is a great idea. Maybe use acid-free materials and UV-protective glass to keep them safe. My uncle used to collect them, and he'd always say the display is half the fun. Do you have a favorite one from your find?
I found a few vintage labels at a garage sale once, and they're really neat! Not sure about their rarity, but they're definitely a cool piece of airline history. For displaying, I'd suggest using acid-free sleeves or frames. You can find them at art stores, and they won't damage the labels. Keeps them safe and you get to admire them every day. If you've got any from airlines that don't exist anymore, those might be a bit more special to collectors.
I love those old luggage labels! They really capture the golden age of flying. I don't collect them myself, but I know some folks do. They might not be super valuable, but the nostalgia factor is huge. For displaying, try using a shadow box. It protects them while letting you show them off. Avoid tape at all costs. Maybe look into photo corners or archival sleeves if you want to keep them in good shape.
I don't collect them, but I think framing is a great idea! Keeps them safe and makes for a cool display. I'd suggest using acid-free backing and UV-protective glass to preserve those colors. Some folks use photo corners that won't stick to the labels themselves. Not sure about rarity, but anything from Pan Am or TWA is always a hit with vintage airline buffs. Have you checked if there's a collector's group online? They might have more tips.
I've got a few old airline labels myself. They can be quite the conversation starter! For displaying, I'd skip tape for sure. Maybe use photo corners or those little clear sleeves that stick to the back of frames. Keeps them in place without damage. As for value, it's more about the design and nostalgia than anything. Some collectors are really into them, but it's not a huge market. They're like little pieces of aviation art!
