Delta's Plan to Retire Older 767s - What's Next?

So, I heard Delta is planning to retire some of their older Boeing 767-300s. I kinda saw this coming since they're not the youngest birds anymore. But I'm curious about what they'll replace them with. I mean, the 767s have been pretty reliable for Delta on their transatlantic routes. Are they going for more A330s or maybe the A350s? I know they've been adding some A350s to their fleet lately, but not sure if those are meant to replace the 767s.

Also, what do you think about the impact on their route network? Will they cut back on any routes or just use different aircraft? Honestly, I'm pretty excited to see how they handle this transition. Anyone have more details or thoughts on what Delta's up to? Let's chat!
Yeah, retiring those older 767s makes sense. I think Delta's probably leaning towards more A330s and A350s. They've been expanding that part of their fleet a lot recently. The A350s would be a nice upgrade for long-haul comfort and efficiency. As for routes, I doubt they'll cut too many. Maybe just use the newer planes to keep up with demand and the competitive transatlantic market. Anyone know if there're any specific routes they might switch up first?
I'd bet on more A330s and A350s too. Delta's been pushing hard with those models. The A350s especially could be a nice upgrade for long-haul routes because of the better fuel efficiency and passenger comfort. But I wonder how this'll affect their smaller cities that rely on the 767s. Will they keep the same frequency or cut back? Could be a chance to refresh their transatlantic strategy, maybe open new routes with newer planes. Anyone else think they'll tweak the schedule?
I'm thinking they'll go for a mix. A330s for sure, since they're already in the fleet and probably easier to integrate. But don't count out the A350s, especially for longer routes. The A350's fuel efficiency is hard to beat, and Delta's been leaning into modernizing their fleet with these. As for routes, I doubt they'll cut back much. More likely, they'll just shuffle planes around a bit to keep things smooth. Anyone know if they're eyeing any new routes with this change?
I'm kinda wondering if they'll bring in some 787s too. Delta's been cozying up to Airbus, but the Dreamliner could be a solid choice for certain routes. It's got that sweet fuel efficiency and passenger comfort combo. Plus, some other airlines have had success with them on similar routes. As for the route network, I doubt they'll cut back much. They'll probably just juggle the fleet around a bit. Curious to see how it plays out! Anyone else think the 787's a possibility?
I think Delta might stick with the A330s and A350s too. They're already familiar with those models, so it makes sense. But I'm curious if they'll change up their routes at all. Maybe some of those less profitable routes might see a different aircraft or even get cut. I remember when they first started bringing in the A350s, it really boosted some of their long-haul options. Wonder if they'll do something similar this time around.
