So, Air Serbia just kicked off direct flights from Belgrade to Tenerife! Pretty cool, right? They've been expanding their Spanish network lately and now they're hitting the Canary Islands. Flights will be twice a week - Tuesdays and Saturdays from Belgrade, and then coming back on Wednesdays and Sundays.
I think this is a nice move for Air Serbia. The Canary Islands are a popular spot, especially with winter around the corner. A lot of people from Serbia and nearby countries will probably jump at the chance for some sun and beaches without too many flight connections.
I'm curious how this route will perform. Tenerife is a bit of a tourist hotspot, but will it draw enough people from the Balkans to fill those flights regularly? Also, wonder if they'll consider more frequent flights if this takes off?
Anyone thinking of trying out the new route? Or maybe you've got thoughts on how this might shake things up for Air Serbia? Would love to hear what you guys think!
