Cape Air's New Turboprop Addition: What Do You Think?

So, I just read that Cape Air is adding eight Grand Caravan EX turboprops to their fleet. They're focusing on their regional operations in Montana, which I think is pretty cool. These planes are supposed to be reliable, and I guess that's exactly what you need for those smaller communities in Eastern Montana.

Deliveries are starting in 2027, which feels like a long way off, but I guess these things take time. I've always thought the Grand Caravan is a solid choice for regional routes-simple, rugged, and gets the job done. What do you guys think about this choice for Cape Air?

Also, I'm curious how this might affect the local economy there in Montana. Do you think it'll boost connectivity and maybe even tourism? Or is it more about maintaining current service levels? Would love to hear your thoughts!
The Grand Caravan EX is a great fit for those short hops in Eastern Montana. It's super reliable and can handle those smaller airstrips no problem. Deliveries starting in 2027 does seem far off, but better late than never, right? As for the local economy, it could definitely help with connectivity. Maybe not a huge tourism boost, but it might make life easier for locals getting around. Anyone know what routes they're planning to cover with these?
I think the Grand Caravan EX is a smart pick for Cape Air. Those planes can handle rougher runways, which is perfect for Montana's more remote areas. Plus, they're known for being fuel-efficient, which is a big deal these days. About the economy, I bet it'll help a bit with local connectivity, maybe even attract more folks to explore the region. But who knows, it might just keep things steady. Wonder if they'll up their frequency on any routes?
I think adding the Grand Caravan EX is a solid move for Cape Air. It's perfect for those rugged Montana routes where bigger planes just aren't practical. Plus, the Caravan's reliability is pretty much legendary. As for the local economy, it could definitely help boost connectivity, maybe even tourism a bit. But I think it's mostly about keeping those essential links strong for the folks who rely on them. Anyone know if they plan to retire any older aircraft with these new additions?
I think it's a smart move for Cape Air. The Grand Caravan EX is a workhorse and perfect for remote areas. I flew on one in Alaska a few years back, and it was smooth despite the weather. As for Montana, it could boost local tourism by making these places more accessible. But I wonder if there's enough demand year-round to keep those routes profitable. Any locals here with thoughts on that?
I like the Grand Caravan EX for Cape Air, especially for Montana. Those planes can really handle the tough weather and short runways. But I wonder how it'll impact ticket prices. New planes are great, but if fares go up, it might not be as beneficial for locals. Also, curious if they'll have any special services or partnerships with local businesses to boost tourism. Anyone know if Cape Air's done something similar before?
