I'm thinking about using my British Airways Avios to book a trip in Qatar Airways Qsuites. I've heard it's one of the best business class experiences out there, but I'm worried about award availability. Has anyone tried booking Qsuites with Avios recently? Any tips on finding availability or getting the best value? I know there's been some talk about BA adding extra fees sometimes, so curious if anyone's encountered that too. Also, is it better to book directly through the BA site or should I call them up? Any help would be awesome-I'm hoping to snag a seat for a trip to Doha next spring. Thanks!
Anyone Tried Booking Qatar Qsuites with Avios Lately?
I tried booking Qsuites with Avios a couple of months ago. Availability can be hit or miss, especially closer to your travel date. I'd say keep checking frequently and maybe consider being flexible with your dates. As for fees, yeah, BA does sometimes tack on extra charges, which can be annoying. Personally, I found the BA site worked fine for booking, but calling might help if you're having trouble finding availability. Good luck with your trip to Doha!
Just tried booking with Avios for Qsuites last month. It's tough to find availability, especially during peak travel times. I found more options about 6-8 months out, so planning ahead helps. The BA site works fine, but sometimes calling gets you more options or helps avoid those pesky fees. Speaking of fees, BA loves adding them, so watch out. I'd also check Qatar's Privilege Club as they sometimes have better availability. Good luck!
Just booked Qsuites with Avios for a trip in March. Availability was tricky, but I found success by searching midweek dates. Weekends seemed tough. Definitely noticed the extra fees BA adds, so be ready for that. I booked directly through the BA site, but I've heard some folks have luck over the phone if they see something online but can't complete it. Would love to hear how it goes for you!
