Hey folks, I've been thinking about heading out to Vancouver International (YVR) for some plane spotting soon. I've heard it's a pretty great spot with some close-up action opportunities, especially near the runways.
I'm trying to decide on a lens to bring along. I've got a Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 and a 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6, but can't decide which would be better for closer shots. If you've been to YVR, do you think the 70-200mm will be enough for catching the details, or should I stick with the 100-400mm for more versatility?
Also, any tips on the best locations around the airport for some nice, sharp close-ups? Any advice would be awesome! Thanks in advance!
