BA's New 14-Hour A380 Route - What's the Buzz?

Hey guys, so I just read that British Airways is launching a new 14-hour route using their Airbus A380s next week. Pretty wild, right? They've got a dozen of these big birds, same as Singapore Airlines. I heard they're retrofitting them with a new 421-seat layout that's got fewer seats but more premium ones. Sounds like they're upping their game for business and first class.

Honestly, I'm curious where this long-haul flight is heading. Anyone know? I think it could be a move to compete with other carriers beefing up their premium offerings. Makes sense, given how travel is bouncing back.

What do you guys think about the A380s making a comeback like this? I know some airlines are phasing them out, but BA seems to be doubling down. Is this a smart move, or are they just holding onto something that's a bit outdated? Also, what are your thoughts on the seat reduction for more premium seats? Worth it, or nah?

Looking forward to hearing what y'all think!
