Widebody Lie-Flat Seats on Domestic Flights - Who Knew?

Started by GateYVR81 2 weeks ago 1 replies 56 views
Hey folks, just read something interesting about widebody lie-flat seats being available on some domestic US flights. Apparently, because the US is such a big country, sometimes airlines use big planes with those fancy seats we usually see on international flights, even for domestic routes. I think that's kinda cool, especially if you're on a long flight within the US. Imagine flying coast-to-coast with a lie-flat seat... talk about a comfy ride!

But now I'm curious. Have any of you ever booked one of these seats for a domestic flight? I've heard it's not always easy to spot them when you're booking. Do you guys think it's worth the extra cost if you do find them? Or is it just better to stick with whatever's cheapest for domestic travel?

I guess it would be awesome for people who have to travel a lot for work or just want a little more comfort on longer routes. But I'm wondering if this is something airlines are doing more often now or just a rare perk. Let me know what you think!
