American Airlines Expands Flagship Dining Access - Thoughts?

So, American Airlines is expanding who can get into their Flagship Dining at DFW and MIA. They're even throwing in a fancy wine and chocolate pairing from KHK Wines and K+M Extravirgin Chocolate, curated by Chef Thomas Keller. Sounds pretty swanky, right?

I think it's cool that more people get to experience this. Usually, these premium services are super exclusive. Not sure if I'd go out of my way for it, but if you're already flying through those airports, why not?

Anyone here ever tried the Flagship Dining? How's the food? And what do you think about these kinds of premium experiences - worth it, or just another way for airlines to charge more? I know some folks love them, but I'm curious about your takes.

I've tried Flagship Dining at JFK, and it was a nice break from the usual airport chaos. The food was solid, definitely a step up from typical lounge fare. But honestly, I wouldn't pay extra just for the experience. The wine and chocolate thing sounds fancy, but it feels more like a marketing gimmick to me. If it's included, great, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. More airlines should focus on making regular lounges better instead of adding these premium perks. What do you guys think?
