ValueJet swaps CRJ700 for a B737-800 - What do you think?

So, I just read that Nigeria's ValueJet is retiring their only CRJ700 and bringing in a Boeing 737-800 instead. Kind of a big move, right? Not too surprising though, considering the CRJ700's seating capacity compared to the 737-800. I mean, the 737-800 can carry a lot more passengers, so it might make sense for them if they're looking to expand routes or increase capacity.

I wonder how this change will affect their operations. The CRJ700 is great for short-haul flights, but the 737-800 opens up more possibilities for longer routes. Plus, it's got a pretty good range and efficiency for its size. But I do love the CRJs for regional hops; they always feel cozy.

What do you guys think? Is this a smart move for ValueJet in terms of fleet strategy? Also, anyone know if they're planning more changes to their fleet lineup? Would be interesting to see if they're planning to go all Boeing or keep a mixed fleet. Let me know your thoughts!
