So I just read that United Airlines has placed this massive order for 110 new planes. They're getting both Boeing 787s and Airbus A321neos. Honestly, I'm a bit surprised they're going with both Boeing and Airbus in one go. Seems like a big move, right? Especially since airlines usually try to stick with one manufacturer to keep things simple. I get that the 787s are probably for their long-haul routes, but I'm curious about the A321neos. Anyone know if they're planning new domestic routes or expanding internationally with these? And how does this fit with their current fleet strategy? I mean, they already have a bunch of 737s and older 757s. Maybe they're looking to replace those? Would love to hear what you guys think about this. Is this a sign of United gearing up for something big, or just keeping up with fleet renewal?
