Boeing 777-300ER: How Come It's Not Made Anymore?

Started by AVDude835 1 months ago 1 replies 68 views
Hey everyone, I was just thinking about the Boeing 777-300ER. Remember when it first came out in 2004? It was such a big deal back then, especially with Air France flying it first. Boeing was all about how it was the most advanced plane at the time. And that GE90-115B engine? Absolute beast!

But here's the thing-it's not in production anymore. Seems kind of wild, right? I guess it makes sense with the newer models like the 787 and the 777X coming in. They're all about better fuel efficiency and tech upgrades. But still, the 777-300ER was such an icon for long-haul flights with so many airlines.

I'm curious about what you all think. Do you guys miss seeing new 777-300ERs being built, or do you think the newer models are just way better? Also, do you think the airlines are going to keep these in the fleet for a while longer, or are they going to phase them out pretty quick? Can't wait to hear your thoughts!
