So, I was reading this piece about what flight attendants do when turbulence hits, and it got me thinking. I mean, we all know turbulence can be kind of scary, and it seems like it's happening more often these days, probably because of climate change and stuff. But it turns out, flight attendants have this whole set of procedures they go through when things get bumpy.
Apparently, they're super well-trained for all kinds of turbulence, whether it's the kind they can predict or the kind that just comes out of nowhere. I always just assumed they were holding on for dear life like the rest of us, but it sounds like there's a lot more going on behind the scenes.
One thing I didn't know is that they have to stay calm and keep an eye on passengers to make sure everyone's following safety instructions. Makes sense, I guess. I wonder how they manage to stay so composed during the really bad bumps.
