So I've been trying to figure out the best way to get to Africa using my Flying Blue miles. Thinking about flying Air France or KLM, but I hear finding award availability can be tricky.
I have about 120k miles saved up, and I'm hoping that's enough for a round trip in business class. Has anyone here successfully booked something like this? How far in advance do I need to search for availability?
Also, any tips on routes that might have better chances of finding a seat? I'm pretty flexible with my travel dates, so I can work around availability to some extent.
Oh, and if anyone has experience with the onboard service or lounges for these airlines, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Trying to figure out if it's really worth using my miles for this trip. Thanks!
