Why's Qantas Betting Big on the A350-1000 for Project Sunrise?

So, I've been reading about Qantas and their big Project Sunrise thing. They're planning these super long-haul routes, like Sydney to London non-stop. Crazy, right? I saw they've ordered a bunch of A350-1000s for it. I get that it's a long-range beast, but is it really the best choice for these flights?

I mean, the A350-1000's got great fuel efficiency and all, but I wonder how it compares to something like the 777X or even the Dreamliner. Is it just about the range, or are there other factors at play? Maybe cabin comfort or operational costs?

And honestly, how do you think passengers will feel about sitting on a plane for 20 hours straight? I love flying, but that sounds intense. Anyone got thoughts on why Qantas is going all-in on the A350-1000 for this? Seems like a big bet!
