Hey folks, I'm planning a trip to Denver International Airport (DEN) this winter and really want to capture those planes with the snowy Rocky Mountains in the background. I'm not really sure about the best settings for snow shots, especially when it's bright out. Anyone got tips for avoiding overexposure in these conditions? I'd assume a lower ISO might help, but what about aperture and shutter speed? Also, any good spots around DEN where the snow scenes are particularly photogenic? I've heard about the Pea Boulevard area but never been. Would love any input or experiences, especially if you've shot there in winter before. Thanks!

Shooting in the snow can be tricky with all that brightness. Overexposure is a real risk, so definitely keep your ISO low-like 100 or 200. For aperture, maybe try f/8 or f/11 to get a nice depth of field without letting in too much light. Shutter speed could go up to 1/1000 or faster, depending on how bright it is. As for spots, Pea Boulevard is solid, but you might also check out 56th Ave. Closer views and sometimes a better angle with the mountains. Good luck!
