Scored a Vintage Swissair Cloth Napkin Set - Keep or Pass?

Started by AmandaClick53 2 weeks ago 2 replies 29 views
Hey all, I recently came across a set of vintage Swissair cloth napkins at a flea market, and I'm not sure if they're worth holding onto. They're in pretty good condition, with the Swissair logo embroidered in the corner. I think they're from the early '80s, judging by the style. I've collected a few airline items over the years, but this is my first time stumbling upon napkins.

Does anyone else have airline linen in their collection? Are these things collectible, or should I just use them for a unique dinner party? Also, if anyone knows more about Swissair memorabilia, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Not sure if these are rare or just a cool find. Thanks in advance for any insights!
I'd say hang onto them, especially if they're in good shape. Airline memorabilia can be pretty collectible, and Swissair has a nostalgic vibe for a lot of people. You never know, they might become more valuable over time. Plus, they make for a cool conversation starter if you decide to use them. I've got a Pan Am ashtray, and it's always fun to see people's reactions. If you ever decide to sell, there are collectors out there who might be interested. What's your favorite piece in your collection so far?
