Best Credit Card for Earning Alaska Airlines Miles?

I'm trying to rack up some Alaska Airlines miles since they have pretty good options for partner redemptions (really eyeing those Japan Airlines flights). I've been looking at a few credit cards that would help me earn more miles.

I've heard some folks say the Alaska Airlines Visa Signature Card is a solid choice, but I'm also considering cards like the Chase Sapphire Preferred for the flexibility with transferring points.
