US Marine F-35B Pilots Jumping Ship for Airlines - What Gives?

So, I read that a bunch of US Marine F-35B pilots are leaving for airline gigs. Apparently, they're getting paid about double what they make in the military. This isn't just about the F-35B pilots either. The Air Force and Navy are seeing the same thing with their fast jet pilots, and it's affecting all kinds of jets like the F-35C, AV-8B Harriers, and F/A-18 Hornets.

I guess it makes sense. If you can do the same kind of flying but get paid a lot more, why wouldn't you go for it? Plus, the airline schedules are probably more predictable than military deployments. But it's gotta be a tough call to leave the military behind.

Anyone else think this is gonna turn into a bigger problem for the military? Like, how are they gonna keep their pilots if the airlines are offering better pay and stability?
