LOT Skipping Freighters? What's the Deal?

Started by TheRampWatcher 3 weeks ago 1 replies 73 views
So, I just read that LOT Polish Airlines isn't jumping into the freighter game anytime soon. Kinda interesting, right? With the way cargo has been booming lately, I thought more airlines would be diving in.

From what I gather, LOT is sticking to passenger aircraft for now. No dedicated freighters on the horizon. I guess they're focusing on their core business, which makes sense. Passenger planes can still carry a decent amount of cargo in the belly, so maybe that's enough for them at the moment.

I wonder if this is a smart move or if they're missing out on a big opportunity. Seems like cargo demand isn't going away anytime soon, especially with e-commerce growing like crazy.

What do you guys think? Are they playing it too safe or just being smart and sticking to what they know? Also, do you think we'll see more passenger airlines jumping into dedicated freighter operations in the future, or is that just for the big players like FedEx and UPS? Curious to hear your thoughts!
