Trying to decide on a hotel loyalty program - Marriott vs. Hilton?

Hey everyone, I'm trying to figure out which hotel loyalty program to really commit to - Marriott Bonvoy or Hilton Honors? I've stayed at both brands a few times and like them both, but I'm not sure which one offers the best perks and points value. I've heard Marriott has a pretty big footprint globally, which is great for international travel, but Hilton seems to have some solid benefits too.

I'm currently holding a Hilton Honors Aspire card, which has some nice perks like Diamond status, but thinking about jumping ship to Marriott for the Bonvoy Boundless card. Anyone have experience with both? How do their elite benefits and redemption options compare? I'd love to hear your thoughts or any tips on maximizing points and perks with either program. Thanks!

I've used both programs, and it kinda depends on what you value more. Marriott's got a huge global reach, so if you're traveling internationally a lot, that's a big plus. On the other hand, Hilton's Diamond status is pretty sweet, especially with the Aspire card.
