AA's A319 & A320 Upgrades + SFO's Delay Woes

Hey everyone! Just listened to the latest Simple Flying podcast and there's some interesting stuff going on with American Airlines. They're working on retrofitting their Airbus A319 and A320 planes. Not sure about you, but I think it's cool to see airlines investing in updating their fleets. I guess it keeps them competitive and probably makes flying a bit more enjoyable for us passengers too. Anyone know what kind of upgrades they're doing specifically? Seat upgrades maybe? Or just tech stuff?

The podcast also mentioned that delays at San Francisco International have apparently quadrupled. That's a bummer for anyone flying in or out of there. I wonder what's causing all the holdups? Is it weather-related or just operational issues? I remember SFO always having some fog problems, so maybe that's still a thing?

Anyway, curious to hear what you guys think about these retrofits and the SFO delays. Do you think the upgrades will make a big difference for AA? And if you've been flying through SFO lately, how's the experience been? Share your thoughts!

I think AA's A319 and A320 upgrades are mostly about adding more modern tech, like new entertainment systems and maybe better Wi-Fi. They might also reconfigure the seating for more capacity. As for SFO, the fog's always been a pain, but I heard they're also dealing with some construction and staffing issues. I fly out of there a couple of times a year, and it's been hit or miss lately. Anyone else have recent experiences at SFO?
