Hey folks, I'm planning a spotting trip to Rome Fiumicino (FCO) soon and could use some advice on lenses. I usually shoot with a Canon body, and I've got a couple of lenses to choose from: a Canon 100-400mm and a Sigma 24-70mm. I'm wondering if the 100-400mm is enough for capturing those close-up details in the afternoon light or if I should consider something else.
I've read that FCO has some great spots, especially near the runways, but I haven't been there myself yet. Anyone who's shot there, how's the light in the afternoon? Is it too harsh or just right for that crisp shot we all love?
Also, any tips on where to set up would be awesome. Not looking to lug both lenses if I don't have to. Thanks in advance for any tips!
