Hey everyone, just saw that Czechia's Atmospherica Aviation is bringing in two more Phenom 300Es from Embraer. They're aiming for a delivery around Q2 2028. Seems like they're sticking to a pretty solid plan of keeping their fleet young. They want to swap out planes every 6-7 years and keep that average fleet age under 2.5 years.
Honestly, I think it's a smart move. Keeping newer planes means less maintenance headaches and probably better fuel efficiency. Plus, the Phenom 300E is a pretty sweet jet. Lots of range and comfort-I've read it can fly up to 2,010 nautical miles.
I'm curious about how this strategy affects their operations. Does having a younger fleet really make that big of a difference in their day-to-day? Also, anyone know how many aircraft they currently have? I guess it must be quite a few if they're doing this kind of regular renewal. What do you guys think about this approach to fleet management?
